In 1999 on our new build in Lyttelton we put in 10 solar panels to help 2 large hot water tanks. 2011 the earthquake took that home. We moved rural and put in a 10kW ground mounted system with no batteries. 3 1/2 years ago I bought a BYD EV. It was all about cost cutting for retirement. I still want to improve my solar usage, but need the right advice as to where from here.
