We are going to host a new drop-in at Spooky Boogie on Sunday June 21st between 2-3pm. Our aim is to come to the community and meet you where you are most comfortable. We imagine over the next few months to host these at various places that locals go. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to get answers about how you can change your home energy usage.

Queenstown Electrification Accelerator, Lightfoot Initiative, and Sustainable Queenstown are Celebrating Matariki with a magical community glow ride and Matariki Star Trail through Te Kararo Queenstown Gardens. Decorate your bike, gather your whānau, and follow a glowing trail to discover the nine stars of Matariki while riding through glowing light pods. It’s an easy 2.2 km loop suitable for children, families, and beginner riders.

In 2025 we’re delighted to bring you a conference with focuses on regenerative crop production, carbon footprinting, and electrification. We’ll have new technologies to think about and see, we have speakers with proven track records, and we’re looking forward to catching up with old friends and new.
If we are going to get to Carbon Zero (or better) we need to think about both inputs and outputs from our systems. Can we soak up more than we release? Which inputs have the greatest impact?
Electrify Hawke's Bay will be reppin' the community movement at the upcoming LandWISE conference in Havelock North. Drop by the stall to learn about how electrification can save on money and emissions for your house, business or farm.
Electrify Wānaka will be stationed outside New World to answer all your questions about electrification.
Come discuss an exciting proposal for an Electrify the Hutt Expo — an event showcasing how we can switch from fossil fuels to clean electricity in our homes, businesses, and transport. Whether you’re a homeowner, small business owner, renter, or just keen to learn more, we’d love to see you there!
Featuring a keynote and Q&A with Mike Casey, CEO of Rewiring Aotearoa, this interactive presentation kicks off a series of mini projects with local experts and peers to facilitate uptake of simple, affordable ways to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
Volunteers will be on hand to talk to you about home electrification and to take sign-ups for home visits. There'll be EV owners outside to talk to as well.
