Electrify Christchurch

Electrify Christchurch is a volunteer-run community group driven by locals for locals, making it easier for the people of Ōtautahi to electrify their lives.
As part of Rewiring Aotearoa's national network of Electric Communities, our mission is simple: to help our neighbours save money, cut emissions, and build a more resilient community by making the switch to efficient electric appliances, vehicles, and adding solar and battery.
We share practical advice, run local events, and support each other on the journey to an all-electric future. Whether you're a homeowner, farmer, or business owner, we invite you to connect with us, learn more, and help make Christchurch more electric!
